How to annotate a screenshot
- Paste your screenshot with Ctrl+V, or drag-and-drop / load it.
- The arrow tool is ready. Drag to point at something; switch tools for text (T), boxes (S), or freehand (D).
- Hold Shift to constrain, and use the colour swatch and width controls to style each mark.
- Undo with Ctrl+Z, or open History to revert any single edit.
- Copy with Ctrl+C, or save as PNG, JPEG, or WebP.
Add an arrow to a screenshot
Drag with the arrow tool to point straight at what matters. Hold Shift to snap the arrow to a clean 45° angle.
Add text or a caption
Switch to the text tool (T) and click to type a label. Double-click any text later to edit it, or drag a corner to resize it.
Draw a box or circle to highlight
Use the rectangle (S) or circle (C) tool to ring an area, or freehand (D) to circle it by hand. Width, colour, and opacity are adjustable per mark.
Annotate without uploading anything
