Paste or upload an image to edit
Mark up screenshots and photos in the browser. Add text, arrows, shapes, or freehand drawing, crop the image, then copy or download it. Nothing is uploaded, so your images stay on your device.
How to use
- Paste an image with Ctrl+V, drag-and-drop a file, or upload.
- Pick a tool and annotate. Hold Shift to constrain (square, circle, 45°) or Alt / Ctrl to draw from the centre.
- Undo with Ctrl+Z, or open History to revert any single edit.
- Copy with Ctrl+C, or download as PNG, JPEG, or WebP.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Editing happens locally in your browser and images never leave your device.
Which formats can I export?
Copy to the clipboard as PNG, or download as PNG, JPEG, or WebP. For JPEG and WebP you can set the quality to trade file size for fidelity.
Does my history persist?
Yes. Recent images are saved in your browser, so you can reload them next time you visit.
Privacy
Your images never leave your device. All editing happens locally in your browser; no image is ever uploaded to a server.
The only data stored is on your own device: your recent images and their edits are kept in your browser's IndexedDB (images, edits, and thumbnails), and small preferences such as your last-used colour and tool are kept in localStorage. Clearing your browser storage removes them. We run no analytics or tracking of our own.
This site shows ads to stay free. Ads are served by Setupad and its advertising partners (SSPs), which may set cookies and process data such as your IP address and device/browser information to show and measure ads. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland these run only with your consent, which you give or refuse in the consent prompt and can change at any time. See the Setupad privacy policy and partner list for the vendors involved and what they do.
